Columbia is home to the University of Missouri, Columbia College, Stephens College, a campus of Moberly Area Community College, and other higher educational institutions. Though the city was founded on education, its location also makes it an attractive spot for businesses and travelers. Columbia has a competitive location advantage, being located on Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 63. Just a couple hours drive from St. Louis and Kansas City, Columbia is the fourth largest city in the state and features a robust business environment.
